Hope for
Young Women

Restoring dignity. Rebuilding lives. Showing God’s love. We walk alongside young women and the vulnerable — from hardship into a life lived with dignity.

The Need We Answer

A Story That Repeats Too Often

Across our communities, countless young women face hardship that goes unseen — girls pushed into marriage before they are ready, wives widowed too soon, mothers left to carry grief alone. Without support, sorrow can harden into isolation, and isolation into hopelessness.

Early Marriage

Many girls are given in marriage before they are ready to face what life demands.

Loss & Grief

The sudden death of a spouse can plunge a woman into overwhelming darkness.

Isolation

Unprocessed grief often deepens into depression and withdrawal from community.

No Safety Net

Without support, vulnerable women can be left with nowhere to turn.

The question is not “Who failed them?” The question is “Who will show up for them now?”

Testimony

Pastor Sarah’s Story

Hope for Young Women was born from the true story of Pastor Sarah. Her journey — through hardship, loss, and restoration — showed us that no woman’s story has to end in her darkest moment.

1

A Large, Polygamous Family

Pastor Sarah grew up in a polygamous household — her father had three wives, and she was raised among twenty sisters and fourteen brothers.

2

Married at Eighteen

At just eighteen years old, she was given in marriage — stepping into adulthood before she was fully ready for what life would demand.

3

Widowed at Twenty-One

By the age of twenty-one, her husband had died, leaving her with two young sons and no property to her name.

4

Left with Nothing

Her late husband's family seized every possession and blamed her for his death, leaving her with two sons and nothing to fall back on.

5

A Mother's Rescue

Her own mother believed in her and took her in, together with her two sons, giving them a place to heal and restart their lives.

6

A New Beginning

She later remarried a man of God, who has been her spiritual guide and pillar of support ever since.

7

A Vision Born

Sarah's journey inspired Hope for Young Women — a place where women can rebuild their lives with dignity.

“Every woman deserves a life lived in dignity — not defined by her lowest moment.”

A Life Restored

One young woman we walked with faced a second pregnancy while still finishing school — a season when many around her said she should quit. We stayed with her instead: through hospital visits, back into the classroom, all the way to a certificate in Accounts and Computer Studies from Kitale Polytechnic.

Today she is working, raising her children, and telling her own testimony to other young women who feel like their story is over.

Why We Exist

Our Model: Three Pillars

We meet women in their darkest place and walk with them toward a life restored — because the end of one chapter should never be mistaken for the end of the story.

Nurture

Foster personal relationships between young women and God through prayer.

“Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed.”

James 5:16

Mentorship

Connecting young women with mature mentors who model faith and life convictions.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Philippians 4:13

Outreach

Equipping young women with skills and knowledge to become self-reliant.

“The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.”

Proverbs 18:15

Mission

To restore the dignity of young women and the vulnerable through counsel, community, and spiritual support — rebuilding lives marked by hope, and showing them the love of God at every step.

Vision

A community where no young woman sees hardship as the end of her story — where every woman knows a life of dignity, purpose, and God’s love is still hers to live.

This is not charity. This is redemption. You are not just paying school fees — you are restoring a name. You are not just funding a program — you are answering a 2am prayer.
